For the 36th year, a Door County Fair/Veterinary Scholarship is being offered. The veterinarians in Door County are offering their services free of charge for the Door County Fair; in agreement, the Door County Fair Association has set aside a sum of $400.00 for a scholarship to be given to a Door County resident who is currently enrolled in, or accepted in, a post-secondary agriculture program.
NOTE: Previous recipients are not eligible for additional scholarships.
The following rules apply:
- Be a 4-H or FFA member in Door County.
- Have shown project animals at the Door County Fair for at least 2 years.
- Be enrolled in, or accepted in, a post-secondary agricultural program.
- Submit a FAIR/VET SCHOLARSHIP application to the Door County Fair, Door County Government Center, 421 Nebraska St., Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235, prior to July 1, 2017.
If for any reason, the Scholarship Committee’s first choice does not take advantage of the scholarship, it will be awarded to the Committee’s second choice.
