Farm Land Lease

Door County invites interested persons to submit proposals to lease land at the Landfill and Wards Quarry properties, Parcel Identification Number(s)  020-02-34282521B, 020-02-34282523A, 020-02-34282524B, 020-02-34282532, and 020-02-34282533, situated in the, Town of Nasewaupee, County of Door, State of Wisconsin) for the purpose of soil cultivation and crop production.

Information regarding available land is in the proposal packet.  Proposal packets may be obtained (M-F, 7am – 3pm) from Door County Highway Department Office, 1001 S. Duluth Ave., Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235 or may be downloaded from our website at: www.co.door.wi.gov., go to Our County, then click on Invitation to Bid/RFP/For Sale

Proposals must be submitted to the Highway Department Office no later than 1:00 pm on December 9, 2022.  Late proposals will not be accepted.  Proposals must conform to the requirements set forth in the proposal packet.

Proposals will be publicly opened at the Door County Highway Department Office at 1:15 pm on December 9, 2022 in the Highway Department Conference Room at 1001 S. Duluth Ave., Sturgeon Bay, WI, and then considered and awarded by the Door County Highway & Facilities Committee at their next regularly scheduled meeting.

Door County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept any proposal that best serves its needs and is deemed to be in the interest of the County.
